The Tru Stories social dashboard at social.tru-stories.com allows authorised users to connect their own social-media accounts, including TikTok, and to create, schedule, upload and publish content.
When you connect TikTok, we receive and process the information permitted by the permissions you grant. This may include your TikTok account identifier, display name, username, profile image, profile link, basic profile and account statistics, a list of your public videos, authorisation tokens, and the content and publishing settings you choose to submit.
We use this information only to authenticate and maintain the connection, display the connected account, upload or publish content at your request, show publishing and account information inside the dashboard, troubleshoot the integration, and protect the security of the service. We do not sell TikTok data.
Authorisation tokens and associated connection data are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the connected service or meet legal and security obligations. You can disconnect TikTok from the dashboard at any time. To request access, correction or deletion of connected TikTok data, contact info@tru-stories.com. Disconnecting or deleting data from our dashboard does not automatically delete content already published to TikTok; published content can be managed directly in TikTok.
TikTok also processes information under its own Privacy Policy.
